I founded Volume and Void because architecture has the power to transform, inspire, and transcend. Collaborating with clients and builders to create meaningful places is a guiding principle in this practice. Volume and Void is about holistic design that balances a connection to environment, an understanding of construction and materials, and care for the client.

I bring more than 20 years of experience in architecture.  My work and studies have allowed me to work and interact with with notable, innovative architects and designers, as well as some truly great clients. My experience ranges from fully custom homes, multi-family, office spaces, restaurants, a performing art center, public art projects, zoning variances, rezoning, hillside lots, and more.  I look forward to collaborating with you.
